PUPPETEERING
(Adult Oriented Shows)
Member - Janie Geiser's Jottay Theatre from 1984-90. Performed original
works for adults, touring an average of 2 months a year, nationally
and internationally. The show "Stories From Here", received an Obie
Award for Special Contribution to Off Broadway Theatre. Between
'84 and '90 we performed at The Center for Puppetry Arts - Atlanta,
Dance Theatre Workshop - New York, P.S. 122 - New York, The Dance
Hall - Cincinnati, Life on the Water - San Francisco, Walker Arts
Center - Minneapolis, The Museum of Modern Art - Los Angeles, and
puppetry festivals in E. Germany and Poland. Jottay Theatre has
received several UNIMA Award(s) of Excellence, (the International
Puppetry Organization).
